Vcarve help please

Ok so I haven't logged on to Vetric forum in a long time so I cant remember my ID but I need help with fillets.

Laying out a counter top rectangle and want to 45 the corners but cant see how to use the fillet tool to cut a straight 45 (don't want to round the corners) please help

Tim,
Probably easiest way is to put a circle the correct radius on the corner, and then snip and Join with a straight line.
If using Fillet tool, then Node edit, cut vectors on the corners, delete corners, and join with a straight line?

Or this.... Fillet, then node edit, change span properties as per the left illustration
