yes that seems to be the easiest way to do these. then sand the face

My old eyes are not as good as they use to be. Did you have any issues with the knots chipping out when v-carving through them. Luv that wood and i bet it smelled nice while you were cutting.

I have never had any problem with cedar.

its so smooth to work with, sand easy. Not hickory i had some problems

Did this one for my friend that supplies my wood, Not my best either we got in a hurry, and we ended up redoing the saw blade in cedar.
