Maybe someone can help me with a small issue. The way I understand the stop button is that its supposed to act like hitting the spacebar.
Mine is wired up to Input #4 on a PRK box. The other wire goes to G terminal. Its lights up the #4 light when the button is pushed but if I am running a program it will NOT stop the program. Hitting the spacebar will instantly "Pause" whatever I am doing but sometimes its not as convientant as the button is.

Any suggestions?

The e stop is for emergency stops not to pause.

+1 to what Jerry says. The estop is for emergency's, as in blood and 911. Pause is to stop machine. I suggest you get that thought out of your head and make the keyboard more "handy"

Look in the [VN] settings for switch number 4 or the estop settings, they may have changed

Good to know. I'll just use the keyboard for that. Still leaves my issue of the button actually doesn't do anything other than light up number 4 Light. I had it working correctly on my old serial board but wired up as per diagrams on PRK box its just basically a light flashing switch. Just to clarify this is not a locking style switch like is on my Haas CNC's that locks you out once you press it.... just a simple red button that says stop

Thanks for the info guys. I'll just get used to the keyboard being my pause button

The RBK box requires a normally closed switch on input 4. Make sure your switch is in fact normally closed. In any case, set the state of input 4 ETOP to match that of the switch. If the switch is good, and parameters are set properly, it should trigger a machine stop event.
