Can't Connect!!!

A while ago i knocked the computer i used to run the shopbot on the floor and it broke, i had it fixed and re-installed the software and now when i try to run the Shopbot 3 software it opens and tries locate the tool and comes up with a yellow box that says the shopbot is present but not responding. please help, thanks.

Have you installed the firmware and the drivers?

i installed the drivers and when i try to install the firmware it comes up withe firmware downloader window and then doesn't do anything that i can see. help again haha

To install firmware you need to

Hit the load firmware in the control software
Turn OFF your control box
Wait 30 sec
Turn ON Control box
Firmware will load automatically

i ran the LOAD_Controlbox program and says that the system is hooked up right but there was a transmission problem, i have changed the port that the cable is plugged into and it says the same thing.

I ran into the same issue yesterday.
Shut down your control box and computer.
Wait a few minutes and start it up again.
Then install firmware again as I explained above.

i did what you said and it comes up with the firmware update window and then the progress bar doesn't appear and i have let it sit for about a half an hour and it hasn't changed.

Have you checked your connections between your control box and computer?
