Making a ZZero Plate

Can someone tell me how to wire a ZZero plate?
I used the search function and didn't come up with much.

Wire the plate to #1, and then make sure the bit is earthed, either through the router body, or by clipping a lead onto the bit and attached to earth.
Don't start the router with the lead attached
