In driving a relay circuit for an external accessory, how much load can I drive with that 24 volt power available on the output strip of my buddy Alpha?

Might be smart to drive a 24 volt relay. That way the relay contacts can supply the voltage/current your accessory requires. The relay load should be low.
Check the current draw of the relay coil. What's on the 24 volt output now?
