Linear array

I'm trying to make 6 copies of a sign and what I did was make one sign and it has 4 different tool paths and when I go to linear array and set up 6 copies it does the profile cut but does not have the rest of the tool paths. This is the first time I have tried using the linear array so I might be missing something.

All of the toolpaths need to be highlighted or possibly grouped. I think I group them then set up the copy, then ungroup. I also put each tool path on a different layer. I do this a lot but it's been a while since I did a new one.

I name the line-work layers and the tool-path names somewhat the same.

If you make an array, it will copy all the line-work to the current layer you are on. The line work for the 5 multiple signs will have to be re-selected for each tool-path.

Or if you change the new line work to a proper layer, say TEXT, you can right clic / “select all lines on current layer” and assign those lines to your TEXT tool-path.

Then change the layer to say “FINAL CUT” select the FINAL CUT tool path etc.

The best way to check a file, is to “turn OFF all the line work” and then turn on the tool paths one by one to see what is going to happen...
