I just found out the hard way that my limit switches are not stopping the machine. They work for zeroing my xy using c3 command. I'm sure I just don't have a setting right. I don't know if this is a new issue or I've been lucky for years
. Using both a move or keyboard command the gantry just sails over stops...switches do light up as they pass over. Suggestions?
Thanks,
taylor

My options said "std. switch" or "limit switch". Changed to limit and they worked just fine. I don't know that I ever had it set right for the last 8 years! It stopped when running zeroing routine and I must have assumed it would stop as a limit switch. I'm always learing something. My second machine was set up correctly. Thanks for the tip. I had looked at the VN earlier but saw that it was set to standard and didn't bother to dig deeper....Its usually the simple things that get me.
