Keeping artwork looking non mechanical

It's a challenge for those of us using a computer as a design station as opposed to free-hand drawing. There's a world of great letter styles but they can look mechanical unless care is taken. Kerning or letter spacing is one of those critical area's.

Here are a couple examples of DiBond letters recessed in a background. One of the requirements is to keep little hands of the lettering. So far, all is going well.

Thanks Ken,

This kind of work has been a godsend. I've found working with townships and municipal community work to be less stressful with easy time limits. The way it works for me now is rather casual. I'm so glad I found PVC.

Ron is still routing for me although he had a stroke a month ago but he's back at his routing station. All the pressure is off for all of us. What fun.
