Is anyone aware if Shopbot is developing a touch screen utilizing a notebook or smartphone connection with the control board?

That is a great thread. Brought up a lot of things. I'm really hoping ShopBot people will study the thread thoroughly. There are some major players in the CNC world, with incredible knowledge, contributing to the thread. I really don't want to see ShopBot go under.
