USB Not Connecting

My 4g SB was running fine. Power supply in PC burned out so I changed it. PC runs fine but it now will not connect to Control Box. Reloaded 3.53, Check USB port with Memory stick, tried other ports which are all on the mother board. Check USB extension cord. Could not find Driver for USB Bridge so I couldn't reload. When powering up control box machine will lock the steppers as normal. Talking with SB support the next issue is to change the USB bridge. Any other suggestion. Of course these issues happen when the machine is needed the most urgent time. Backup box is being 4g updated so I need to get the current one up and running

Lonnie, you might go into device manager on the PC and delete the driver then reinstall. If you need the file I could e-mail it to you. If you need more detailed instructions just let me know.

Once you get it working again don't change the port the USB cable is plugged into. Changing the port will likely mess things up

Thanks Bill, I found the USB to serial cable was bad,all seems to be normal.
