I'm kind of new to the shopbot and I'm using the art cam pro to make my stuff and then bringing it to shopbot3 to carve it on our router. I can cut letters and 2d objects fine, but I can't seem to figure out how to make cut files for 3d object. If anyone could help that would be great

Nikki,
The ArtCAM manual shows you how to toolpath in 3D. If you don't have a manual, you can get one from your reseller.

I do not use ArtCam, however you are most likely using a "Profile" strategy for your 2D parts.

3D toolpaths are generated using another strategy.
Perhaps called "Contour" or something similar.

You would also most likely to have first create a surface instead of trying to just machine individual vectors.
