After several weeks of frustration tech support has resolved my issues with the Comm Error problems I had been dealing with.
The problem was the controller card. But getting there was like a trip on a roller coaster... we tried all of the various things found here on the board and Frank had me standing on my head looking at everything. The final try was the controller card and after replacing that we have been 100% error free!
Thanks to Frank for keeping me from jumping off of the nearest overpass!

First off - congrats! But second thanks for coming back on and posting the solution. I am a very new Bot owner (arrived Friday) and I have enjoyed the support from both the Botters and of course the Bot staff. However when someone has one of those 'impossible' things going on it's good to know the company stands behind their product and their customers. I should be at the wiring point by next weekend so wish me luck!

Ken,
I was wondering how things were going for you.
I'm glad to hear the Bot is working and you're making sawdust instead of flat spots on your forehead from banging your head on the wall.

Russ - Good luck with everything... The bad news on all of my 'fun' is that I lost time being able to make sawdust! The good news? I now know my Buddy from every possible angle... I have had my head in and out of the control box, unplugged and re-routed wires and now have experience at pulling the system boards!
I like to look for the good side to bad situations... most of the time!
Drop me a note if you need any help Russ!
