The Desktop Max I just bought has the Shopbot vacuum deck and the Shopbot Vacuube. List price if new for the pair would be $595 for the Vacuube and $515 for the deck. Total of $1110 more than the Aluminum deck Desktop.

I just replaced the motor in the Vacuube at a cost of $230 with the long life brushes.

Wondering if anyone has a Desktop Max with a good aluminum deck that they would like to replace with the above.
