Yes, you can buy a bare machine for less money, but not one as well equipped where you can take it home and start carving without spending another dime. This the whole meal deal. You won't have to tell your wife that you bought a CNC machine and then had to spend a lot more money on extras.

Has new spoil board
Removed, cleaned and lubricated bearing blocks
Includes 2 dust collectors.
Optional uninstalled 5 1/2" Z axis
Two dust shrouds,
Spindle
1/4" and 1/2 inch collets
Collet wrenches
Two work tables, one for ShopBot and one for PC which has drawers.
Fein 5 speed vac with hose
ShopBot version of Vcarve
ShopBot control software installed on HP laptop
1/4" straight bit, 1/4" v bit, 1/4" bowl bit.

I've gone to a ShopBot Desktop max and don't need 2 machines.

ShopBot provides excellent customer service if you have any questions about their machines. They are quick to respond via email and have been very helpful. In addition, there is a ShopBot forum with loads of helpful, experienced users who will be happy to give advice. ShopBot also has loads of youtube viedos:

Vectric also has a lot of support and online videos for VCarve. Create a free account and access tons of information

This ShopBot is located in Southern Illinois. I can not ship it. I have up cumming back procedures and can not help load. You can park a trailer or truck right at the doors of my shop for easy loading.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

You might want to add a price, otherwise, it might be free!

Was that the whole meal deal Bud, or is the Fein II still available?

Hi Scott,

I didn't end up selling the whole meal deal, only the Desktop and the laptop. I'm going to list the 5.5" Z conversion as I won't need it now that I have the Max. Keeping everything else.

I'd hang onto the old Fein II also Bud. :)
The new ones don't seem to have a power setting...just run full blast(noisier) and vac adjusted by bleeding air. :(

OH!
On Z-Axis Retrofit package....You'll have to add which Z linear rail kit you have....Look at page 2&3 of this...you don't want to sell it to somebody with a different drive rail!!

Woops... .pdf is too big to attatch...try this link and download;
https://www.shopbottools.com/ShopBotDocs/files/5halfInchZAxisRetrofit.pdf
Woops again... on that link, it's page 5.

Liking the Max Bud?

I've had a terrible time with facet joint pain due to arthritis in my lower 3 facet joints in my back. I am not able to lift anything. I'm waiting for my son to come help put it from my garage floor to the table in my shop.

Be careful with the back Bud!
Have 2 friends down with bad backs(and not cutting right now because of mine) and "stupid" moves.

Have your son bring a friend! :)
Buddy of mine had to get a Max down through basement bulkhead, and the insulated "airlock" he'd built at the bottom.
It meant he had to tip on it's side(and tight even then), and heavier and more awkward than he'd really imagined.
Pics are of how he did 2X4 "handles" and protecting against gantry/spindle movement when tilted to get around the 90 degree corner at the bottom.
HE had TWO friends help and he was basically a "balancer"...and it only cost him 2 pizzas and a couple of six packs. :)

Let "Youngsters" do the heavy lifting Bud!
