This is a machine made about 2,009 or 2010, it was as shopbot was transitioning from prt to prs. It was in a warehouse for five years before I got it. I have upgraded everything so this is definitely a prs. The Z travel is 18" I have modified the bed with extruded aluminum so that the way it's set up now has a 4-inch Z, since I am mostly cutting three-quarter inch material the spindle being closer to the bed makes for a much better cut. Included is a black box hurricane with all the piping needed and a 96 bye 54 inch HDPE plenum. The spoiled board and underneath it can easily be removed to provide access do the extruded aluminum framing below. Parts can be removed or added to make this machine any configuration you would like. If you look at the photos you can see that there's much more metal added to legs and bed of the machine, it's a very sturdy machine. There are more parts not shown. here is a lenk to some photos,Please send me an email and I will send them https://photos.app.goo.gl/yUMYB4CA7LzDsL9s5 And any questions.

35,000 or ORO by 6/26. I'm moving and retiring and must sell. there's more to this machine than you can see in the photos. I don't have time to make the post better. Please call and I will be happy to explain anything about the machine.

Just as a cursory opinion, your price is WAY too high. You could buy a brand new machine from SB for less than that. A more reasonable price would be somewhere in the $12k-$15k range. Even that would probably be too much. Good luck though.

Best offer? You have a minimum $ in mind?
Ya, typically people list the price they want, not the price they paid.

Threads stay here until the end of time, or when their server fails.
When you say sold at asking price, does that mean you got $35k for a nearly 15 year old machine? That would be amazing and frankly, unbelievable.

You are unbelievable. You discourage people from buying my machine. Mind your own business. You do not know how much I paid for the machine. And to top it off you call me a liar.

I believe you are full of bluster. The ONLY reason for posting that was to poke John in the nose. And not a single person here who has ever owned and operated a large ShopBot (and I have owned a NUMBER of them (4+ and counting)) would be a buyer at ANY where near that price. One might as well put 10+ K onto it and get a brand new machine with ATC and modern electronics and the latest in the Y gantry and Z supports. John tried to call this out early so you could accomplish your sales/timing goals. And now you just want to metaphorically punch him a bit to make him look like the one who is uninformed. Bad form. No one is impressed. And if you DID do this to someone, you don't really have the ethics to play with this group. Please enjoy your retirement and play elsewhere.

And to top it off you call me a liar.
And I quote: "That would be amazing and frankly, unbelievable."
This type of response from you is exactly what's wrong with the world today. You take a quote, which is actually very positive, and turn it around and attack me. Why? Because you are unhappy that I doubted you could get $35k for a 15 year old Shopbot? If you did, then that's frankly amazing, and quite unbelievable. That doesn't mean I just called you a liar, it just means I'm amazed at what you sold it for. I have an older SB too and I'd love to sell it for what I paid for it eventually. That just doesn't seem likely when newer, better and more powerful machines are available for quite reasonable prices.
So anyway, glad you're successful with your sale and please, chill the beans there bud. Be friendly. Don't first pull out a gun and shoot people when you start to lose an argument.
