Can someone give me some insight into how the VR and MS settings work in conjunction with the Bit/Tool settings?

I am spec'ing feeds and speeds in Aspire and also trying to fine tune the SPB VR and MS inputs.

I'm fine tuning as I'm cutting some extreme detail (.0312 and .0156) over large surfaces (17" x 17") and am working to dial in the extremely fine detail but reduce my machine times.

Thanks for the help.

Here's 1 VERY good thread to start with;
http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/showthread.php?21218-Public-Service-Announcement-Make-More-in-Less-Time-via-Tuning

It got me 25% faster on smaller 3Ds with VERY smooth/similar speeds on all axis with a little playing.
Have to go out to doc, maybe add more later,
scott

Likewise the suggestions Brady had made a world of difference for 3D work on my machine. Prior to that some of my jobs were herky-jerky and nearly had the machine dancing across the shop floor.
