I need to reverse one of my x motors on a prt96 Shopbot
Vexta a6497_9412 ktg. Need to change the
Physical wiring to reverse on the motor connector
The wires on the connector is black green blue red
Thanks for any help

They are paired in the plug. Two on one side and two on the other. Reverse either pair. They come out very easy with a tab you push in on the connector going into the controller.

Hi Kenneth thanks for your help just to make sure i have this correct
from the left of the plug the colours goes red blue then green black
so one pair will be red blue and next pair green black
this will become green black red blue? trying not to make smoke

Or should I just take the red and blue and exchange there position so it become from left blue red

yes switching the red and blue in the plug should make it run the opposite way. If you are comfortable with a meter, each pair has continuity and no continuity between each other.

Got it working
Now another problem has come up one of the stepper start making making allot of noise. I took of that motor and connected it to the smooth working motor supply and it work smooth.
can a Geckodrive cause this problem? G203v using a meter is there a way to test a geckodrive where can i find this info i have replace the break out board PMDX-122
any help will be welcome

So if you are not on the shopbot software, I would put leadshine drives in it. Smooth, quiet, and less motor heating. DM556E or DM860E Depending on your supply voltage. Look up automation direct

Did you hook the other motor up to the noisy drive. It may be a loose wire going to the Gecko. Are you getting all green lights on the Geckos and is the resistor hooked up
