safe z change for cutter clearace

on a prs standard we are trying to change the 1 inch safe z so that we just clear so that we can still cut 3.5 deep with the cutter that we have. thanks Don Hunter

Type VC in command line and under Safe Z pullup.

VERY important if Z-Zeroing to machine bed to add material thickness!!

Along with the Safe Z setting in the ShopBot software that Scott pointed out, if you use VCarve or Aspire there are some z-axis settings in the "Material Setup" section at the top of the Toolpath tab. These control things like how high it lifts between cuts while running a file.
