I have a 48x96 PRT Alpha. Software 3.5.10 I am trying to set up a homing routine and when I try to move the carriage to the limit switch it doesnt stop. The switch lights up but doesnt stop it. Also, I dont have the two files that the manual refers two S_Home.sbp and Home.sbp

Be sure that your homing file uses the same input switches that the limit switches are wired into.

Got it all worked out. Jamie walked me through the automated shopbot setup in the new software.

I bought a used machine that worked well for the few projects I did until some life changes left the machine idle for a year. It was then moved to a new location with a new PC and I have the very issue Shawn had back in 10-02-08. However his post does not say how it was resolved. My manual describes the two files S-Home.sbp and Home, sbp which I do not see in my C:\sbparts folder. Shawn? Anyone?
Thanks.

Make sure you've run the setup routine in the software first so it knows the type of switches you have etc.

The routine to home using the proximity switches is call XYZero and should be set up as C3 on the Cuts menu or you can just type C3.
