Maybe i've overlooked something but I feel as though i've tried evrything. Obviously not. My issue is getting pacer to cut fonts or text. The error shows 'No Vectors'. Is there a simple procedure for transporting text files or outline files from illustrator, to cad and then to pacer? Pacer picks up straight lines but struggles with the curves. Please help.

I don't know what pacer is, but you will have to convert your text to curves or something equivalent in Illustrator before exporting as a .dxf.

Cheers Scott. Pacer is a 3d routing machine, its capable of many amazing things but all i needed it for was text related graphics cut into acrylic. I'll try other methods before i put myself on the dam thing.
Thanks again.

Being British I had a look at these machines some months ago.
The price scared me away

Also being british, I totaly know where mike is coming from. Although, the machine can seriously gain money back if you get the right jobs. We can do anything. EXCEPT FOR FONTS!!
