Vibration on new SB PRS Standard

Hi all...

Why do I get vibration noise in the X and y direction at low feedrates???

Only below 1.5 ips...

Rails are all square, level and lubericated.

It's called mid-band resonance. It is normal at lower speeds with steppers.

You can try to adjust the driver. There is a adjustment pot on the gecko drivers. First set the move speed very low then turn the adjustment screw until it is quiet as possible. There is a better description of the procedure at the Gecko site just download the manual for your model,
