I machine plastic and that stuff goes everywhere and because I thought I had a problem I did not actually have long story anyway I have built some rail sweepers for my machine. I used some scrap UHMW to attach these brushes.

I like that Mike. Where do you get the brushes?
I would like to do the same to my bot
Thanks for posting the pictures.

Thanks I bought the brush material and aluminum holder from here. I used style #4 for holding the brush. I started by crimping the end tight in a vice that stops the brush from coming apart and locks the brush inside the holder stock. At the corners I just hack sawed through the square stock and then bent it by hand with the brush material inside. Here is a link to McMaster-Carr where I ordered the material.
I used UHMW blocks to hold the brushes on to the Bot but you could use a block of wood in place of the UHMW. I should have taken some pictures with it apart.

To anyone interested...
I have several sticks, 6' long aluminum strip, with the brush inside. I think they are the nylon bristles, black. $10.00 a stick plus freight. I do have some photos that I can send it you are interested. E-mail me at the address in my profile and I will send the images.
I also have some Valterra gate valves for sale. I will need to check and see what I still have available.
Thanks
Wayne
