HSD Fan Stopped Running

Fair warning, I just got my ShopBot so take that into consideration. I have a Buddy 32/Alpha with a 2.2 HSD spindle. I successfully went through the air cutting exercise and was ready to tackle drilling the hole cutting file to attach my board to my aluminum base. In centering the bit over dead center in the aluminum base I was moving the z-axis down until apparently I hit a limiter switch and z movement stopped, however the fan on the HSD spindle also stopped, and it does not now start up even after powering up the ShopBot. All x-y-z movement is still ok.

The fuse to the 24v controller appears to be good, I tested and have continuity on the fuse. Any ideas? I dropped an email to ShopBot but since it's the weekend I thought I'd give the forum a go.

Problem solved, I didn't have enough slack in the cord to fan and it pulled out a connection when I went too far on the z-axis....I needed to heed my own "Fair warning".
