Motor tightners

How tight should my motor buckles be at. Just tight enough where I can't push down with two hands, more free or tighter? Just wondering if being to tight will affect the cutting sounds like it will

On my alpha, I have the turn-buckles turned 2-1/2 turns from the point that the spring just starts to tension.
