I am trying to cut out a lowercase 10" tall Times New Roman letter "k" and I need to make the center connection thicker so the legs don't break off. I tried to use the fillet command but it won't let me edit a text block. Is there any other way I could do this? Also, is there any where I can go to learn more about v-carving?

PS. Thanks to everyone who e-mailed conerning my "router not powering up issue"...It is finally fixed and working like a charm!

Jim,
You have to 1st ungroup the text block...then ungroup each letter you want to edit. Once you have ungrouped the text block, however...you can no longer edit it as text. PW will only recognize it as a shape...AND it will no longer allow you to V-carve it. You may have better luck using TypeSetter.

I stand corrected...You CAN edit one of the fonts that will carve in PW and it will V-carve them....Just ungroup them (twice).
