Install control software on new computer.

I replaced the control computer for my PRT Apha. I can't get it to connect to the control box.
The USB cable works on my laptop. I get the yellow error box. I run it through all 16 com ports and still can't find it.
Help.

Roger,

Did you install the drivers for the IOGear USB to Serial adapter first before plugging in the USB cable? If you updated to the latest SB3 software, you'll need to update the control box firmware too.

I did not install it. Where do I find it?
The firmware has been update off my laptop, that works the bot just fine.

it is on a separate cd usually in the control box.

Hey Roger,

They're included in the ShopBot software install, in the "C:\Program Files\ShopBot\ShopBot 3\Drivers" folder.
