3.6.1 & MS Office

When I start the latest SB software it wants to (unsuccesfully)run Microsoft Office Project Professional 2003. What's this all about then?Anybody else have this?

Could it be that you share a common icon? Change the icon for either one and try it again.

Thanks Jack. I'm not quite sure what you mean by that, but I'll look into it. This is on my design computer so isn't that big a problem.

What i mean is the same type of icon triggers both programs.
Go to your icon for shopbot control software
right click icon
go down to properties
click on shortcut tab
it should say this:
"C:\Program Files\ShopBot\ShopBot 3\Sb3.exe"
now go to your microsoft office shortcut and follow same steps and see if somehow they are the same.
Are the shortcut icons the same?
If the icons are different and the program location designations are different, then i'm not sure whats up.

I have had this issue before. I would run an app it would try to reinstall office. I have had it on two computers. it goes away after a bit but it is pretty annoying.

This happened to me, but it wanted to install MS Front Page (which I had installed once but had removed some time ago). It drove me crazy until I finally just decided to go ahead and install Front Page. Now SB3 runs runs fine and does not try to run anything else. I hope that helps.
