View Full Version : How do I radius a vector "point"

I am drawing a sine wave, in Part Works, that looks like the teeth on a hand saw. How do I remove the points and replace them with a 1/16" radius so they have rounded and not sharp "points"? I tried the fillet tool but it gave me some weird looking vector that looked like the fruit of an eggplant.

I should mention that I drew it using one polyline and the only nodes for editing are at the tip of the points.

Tim-

You could create a 1/16 r circle, put it where you want it and trim the circle and your vectors where they intersect.

You could also add another node on either side of your single node (right click for options), delete the middle node, and convert the new small segment to an arc.

Hope that helps,
Howie

I was able to use the fillet tool. I was clicking on the line INSTEAD of clicking on the point. When I clicked on the point it added a radius arc for me. Duh.... Thanks for the suggestion though Howie.
