V-carve problems

I'm using Partworks to V-carve some lettering on small box lids and having problems with lettering size and placement. I have the artwork looking the way I want it but when I cut it the letters are shifted right and are smaller. Anyone have some ideas where I start chasing this problem down?

You might not be zero'd where you need to be. The toolpath will match the PartWorks preview. I'd check the machine's X and Y positions and the Z-zero height. Letters too small may simply be that the bit is not carving deep enough.
