I noticed on the redesigned website that the download slot for the programming handbook now no longer states its date of origin. I downloaded it hoping for the comprehensive updated version I have been asking for, but on paging to the system variables page, I found that the variable for cutter diameter is still stated as %(20) which is untrue for the Windows versions of the software (it is %(23)). It is still the old version.
Anyone using programming statements in their shopbot files MUST cross reference with the various documents found in the developer tools/docs folder in their shopbot software, as the old "Programming Handbook" document is hopelessly out of date in many places.
I am posting this so that other people do not have to waste hours going through code that is wrong due to mis-information, like I did!!
Erroneous information is theft of time.
