Click & Drag

I'm new to vector, my question is does Vector have click and drag to place images anyplace you want them. It might be there but I just don't know where to look. Thanks for any information.

Hold down the shift key while in Modify mode. All selected entites will be dragged to the new location. Press ctrl just before releasing the mouse button to make a copy.
