Vacuum Pump hook up?

I have two regen blowers each 2.5HP right now I have them hooked up in series going to a 4 zone system with 4 valves. Would it better to run one blower to 2 zones rather than running them in series?

Not all vac motors can be run in series...I would check on if those blowers can safely be run that way. The choice to run in parallel or series depends on the CFM & vac rating on the pump. Sometimes it doesn't matter which way you run it if the pump isn't strong enough to begin with.

We're probably splitting hairs here, but I'd go one blower for each 2 zones. That way if you're running half sheets, you can turn one pump off.

I'm gonna try the one blower for each 4 zone. I just finished cutting the new table for 8 zones. So I'll start putting it together tommorrow.
