I downloaded the latest 3.4.21 onto this computer, which is a biggy, and it runs well.
I have been given a Pentium II to test at the workshop.
I copied all of the new SB folder onto a CD (apart from Part Wizard II and Project Wizard) and copied it into the same path c:\Programfiles\Shopbot\ on the new computer.
When trying to run it, the Red Window comes up, then I get this message: "Run-time error '75' Part/file access error".
I Googled the error and read this "Program does not have rights or access to a file. Often this is caused when a program is trying to access a network file it doesn't have proper access to either because of network privileges or something is blocking the program. This issue can also be caused when the file is being used by another program or is read-only."
A lot of stuff was cleared off this later computer before coming to me, leaving only Windows 98 and little else.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to try and overcome this problem?
Thanks in advance.
Meanwhile I'll continue running in DOS with my trusty old laptop!
