Part Wizard Toolpath Question

I have a project coming where I will be using Bill's Extuder Program. I have Part Wizard 1.0 (bought used machine) and when I save toolpath I only have the option to save as plasma mm or inch and router mm or inch. I know for the extuder it has to be plain inch or mm. I saved the toolpath than extruder gave me an error that it had the g-code circle(CG) in the file. How do I change this to work correctly.

You need to use this one: Shopbot (inch)(*.sbp)

I wont upload the ART file as you may not be able to use it... again, not sure as why it didn't calculate correctly at your end... maybe just because it's ArtCAM powered!?

I looked at the one I sent you and found that same spot. I deleted the toolpath and created a new one, I check and no overlaps. I then saved the new toolpath as a shopbot file. When I saved it I only have 4 choices for file types: Shopbot Router inch, Shopbot Router MM, Shopbot Plasma Inch and Shopbot Plasma MM. I used Shopbot Router Inch. I opened it by with file editor and again it had G code circles (CG) in the file. I wonder if it is because I am using Part Wizard 1.0

Which control software version are you using? I'm asking because the latest SB3 do an update on the PW posts... I'm not sure if it'll update your PW posts but might worth a try or get in touch with SB about it or better yet toolpath in another software.

The file that I've attached in the previous post was toolpath with a 1/4" CED tool bit...


Make sure you use the latest Bill's Extruder (http://www.shopbottools.com/files/LabFiles/extrupdt.htm) .

I am running the latest control software and exyuder. I also emailed Bill Young, and he thinks it is the version on PW I am running. So I will look at going another route or upgrade.

Figured it out. I can use Vcarve Pro to make my toolpath, then Extruder.
