I have done a tif2sbp conversion and wondered if I can view the model (and tool paths) in Vector.

thanks

Rob you will only be able to preview it in the shopbot software at this time. I do not know of any other software that will let you preview an sbp file

There is a Shopbot to dxf converter floating around which will take a shopbot part file as input and create a dxf file. The dxf file will load into Vector and away you go. The converter has some limits mostly dealing with curves.

Does anyone know where to find the ShopBot to DXF converter? I did an Internet search and came up with nothing useful.

Ron,

Try Shopbot. They tend to be willing to give it out to those who ask.

BTW, the Shopbot to DXF convert was/is suppose to be part of the digitizing package that Shopbot sells. Also, I believe that it only does straight lines (which is what the probe generates). Fortunately, this is also what the Tiff2dxf file generates also, so it _should_ give you a good conversion.

If there is any shopbot to dxf converter, I would be really happy to get it .
