Sketchup Tutorial

Saw this a month ago and forgot to post it. Showed my brother yesterday and I remembered how great it was to show the how great Sketchup is, especially for a free software package. The person who made the video is Gary Katz, he's on the JLConline.com (http://forums.jlconline.com/forums/index.php) forum. The second link goes to a web page of his articles.

Wow, that video is great! Inkscape is for more advanced than I thought. Gary makes it seem so easy.

I have seen some of Gary's presentations at some of JLC shows. I especially enjoyed his presentation on crown molding.

I went to the link and started to d/l the video tutorial and it had no sound. Anyone else experience that? I have a new computer.

It worked for me but I use Allplayer. It plays many videos other players won't play. In fact I have never found a video it wouldn't play. You can download it free here.

Gary Katz made the video. It's the best tutorial I've ever seen, it really simplifies Sketchup. Made it less daunting for me. That's why I had to post it, others should find it very helpful.

In the help menu of Google SketchUp, there's a link for GS video tutorials page... check it out; lots of very good stuff.
