Can an older version of turbocad be used to create
cut filesfor the shopbot? I have been looking on Amazon there are selling version v9.2 at a very good price just wonder if this can work/ total new to this so looking for all the help i can get thanks paul

Paul,

Any of the TurboCad versions will create dxf files. I started with v4 and I now create files all the time with v7. However, you still need a program to create the toolpaths and produce ShopBot code. Some people use the dxf converter that comes with the SB control software. I use PartWizard. Others use other programs.

Is anyone using the CAM portion of Turbocad/cam?
If so any tips on how to set up and use. Seems very user unfriendly the way I'm approaching it.
