Can't save Part Wizard Files, comes up with "check file permissions blah blah" but I do have space, file permissions etc etc. I recently installed Part Wizard on another [new] computer on the same network & came up with the same problems

Tony,
Be sure that you have permissions via the Windows user account for the names listed. In some cases you need Admin permission to save a PW file on the computer. This is especially true if you are on a company network, have virus scan software (which does not recognise a .ART file) or the computer was 'recycled' from a company with previous permission still sticking in the user account.
What operating system are you running? XP Home, Pro, Millenia, Win2K, 98SE ?

I have been using the same comp for about 2 years with no such trouble, have admin account, xp pro etc. No other software is causing similar problems, head scratching stuff, but the only time it started misbehaving on the "OLD" computer was when I re-installed PW on a "NEW" comp on the same network.... [thanks, Brady!]

oh, does anybody know if there is lock-out of the software IF Part Wiz suspects "foul play", pirate copy etc? This is a WEIRD problem!

Tony, isn't this the old problem of having tranferred a file of your own creation from a CD to a hard-drive? (those files automatically become "Read Only" until you change the properties.)
