I am trying to import a logo file into Insignia that was created by a design company. I have both AI and EPS formats but I can't get either to import succesfully. Thanks, Kip
Do you have another software to process the file for Insignia? Vectric V Carve PRO (most often) can prepare it for ArtCAM... ironically! You can try another software too. The idea is to reach the very obsolete import filter of Insignia with the export capability of another software.

Send me your e-mail address and I can forward some info to you which ought to help. Also do you know what software they are using to create it?

Thanks Eric, You have mail
Paco, I only have the trial version of V-Carve. I'm hoping to buy it when work picks up. Kip

Thanks Eric, but that didn't help me any. Any other suggestions anyone? TIA, Kip
I just tried something. Get MoI (http://moi3d.com/) (beta) and try what I suggested above; it just worked with Insignia 3.6f (If it get it's way into MoI, I'm pretty confident it'll work with other Insignia releases)... make yourself a great discovery with MoI while at it.
MoI now handle PDF, EPS and AI. Isn't that cool?! One can build 3D from 2D.
Keep us posted.

it sounds like the eps file does not have the vectors. thats been the problem I have had when importing does not work.
Sound like you'll be having a tracing session.
