In VCarve Pro v3.1, is there a way to change the safe z height after the material is defined? I have one particular tool path that might be trouble and I wanted to add a little height to the safe z but it’s not obvious to me if there is a way to do it.

Tom,
You can change the SafeZ height by going to the material setup & changing the rapid clearance gap parameter.

Toolpaths pannel/Material Setup (toolpath operations)/Rapid clearance gap
It's currently being reset to 0.2362" each time the software start but I believe this will be change for the next release... I hope so...

Thanks for helping out with the Technical Support guys, it's very appreciated.
When the Rapid Clearance Gap height is edited it should be remembered and become the default for the next job. This seems to be a bug and we'll look at fixing it in version 4.
We are planning to release VCarve Pro 4 in May and more information will be posted in the coming weeks.
Thanks again,
Tony
