Need Help with Vectors

Guys, ive been trying to design a bunch of text with circles inside them. FOr example, an outline of the letter M with an overal size of 10"L x 10"W, I would like to fill this with 0.25" circles. Is there any way i could do this without manually adjusting and positioning each circle within the outlines of the Letter M ?

The nesting tool may be what you need. It would take some trial and error with the settings.

Tim that solution is awesome.. Shawn double posted.. so I offered another solution which will outline the letters. Yours "fills them in".

Thanks Tim! That helped a lot! Played around with all the different ways of doing this and in the process got my skillset up another point!
