Creating Arc's

I am trying to create an arc and it keeps giving an error every time I try and pick the profiling toolpath. It say's Error :Toolpath Manager Library group to area clear contained no closed contours. Does anyone no what this means.

Look at it from the progams' viewpoint.

Draw a circle on a piece of paper. You could color everything inside of it, or you could color everything outside of it. Now if you erase part of the circle where would you stop coloring? You have to somehow create a closed figure and then cut everything on the inside or the outside.

If you just want to cut an arc you could just use the "Machine along vectors" function. this will give you a nice arc but it is going to be the width of your cutter. If you want an arc like in an outhouse door you can generate two different size circles, join them, erase what you don't want, and then cut the inside to whatever depth you need. Remember that the points of the crescent are not going to be really sharp, they are going to have the radius of your cutter.
