I am trying to do a easy offset'' x5.0,y5.0 ''I read the phrase FP,mypart.sbp,1,1,1,1,2 ''''I understand the numbers,,,but where & how do I do fp,mypart .sbp ???is mypart the program name of the part being made???

You start by either selecting [F]ile [P]art File Load, (from the top left of the console) or the green Load Part File button on the position box. You now select your file from the folder that it is located in, or simply type it in, if it is located in the default SBparts location. You will then see the fill in sheet for that file. Select the options that you want, and then OK.. your file will run with the options that you have selected.

You can also type in [F][P][any partsfilename.SBP][1,1,1,1,2]etc to add parameters without going thru Explorer type folder structure.

O i didnt know that was for the fillin sheet ,,,,I dont wont to use it because u have to put the off set in each time ...How can u put the offset in to the program???If u move it to the pos. & xy 0 it,,,,it messes up the table croods...Thanks for ur reply Bryan

To run the file in the way you describe, make a master file. Here are the steps:

Open the SB editor

Enter these lines: (replace bracketed with your coordinate data)

M2,[offset x, offset y] (or J2)

FP, [any parts file name.sbp 1,1,1,1,2] (enter your correct parameters)

END

Save the file with your desired name
The file should now run at your location in 2D offset without using the fillin sheet

There a new version of the Rotator program in ShopBot Labs that lets you pick the rotation angle...positive for clockwise and negative for counter-clockwise. It also adds support for the CG and CC commands.
