Measuring In Preview Mode

I was just wondering if there was a way to measure in Inches in the Preview mode, If not an official way is there perhaps a patch of Hack that can do this.


I don't make the DFX files I just run the Cut File and it would make my Job alot easier if I could measure the length and with of pieces

If you just need a rough estimate you can use the grid in the Previewer and count the squares. By default they are 6" squares but you can change that to something smaller with the "grid size" setting in the VP command.

For a more accurate measurement the .log file that's generated when a file runs will tell you the minimum and maximum values for X, Y, and Z for that file.
