Ajusting manual move mode. [Archive]

Anybody know how to adjust the steps in the keyboard mode? I have shopbot software ver3 for my PRT. I started using Version 3 about 6 months ago ...(upgraded from my old dos version)...However when I go into keyboard mode and try to land my xyz zero on a point on my material the steps in the keyboard mode are too large. I need to reduce the step distance in the keybord mode. I Know this can be done for the alpha software but not prt software. This is not always a problem as I usually just oversize my material...but when I need to flip a part and and carve both sides I need to to dial in to dead center on my material. The step distance set on Ver3 default makes this almost impossible.

Paco,

That did the trick but only when I check the "fixed" button on the keyboard mode.
The default keybord mode moves a whole 1/4" per step. I guess thats what you meant by fixed distance ...duh!
