CabinetPartspro has an Update V8.
Cabinetpartspro includes 3 modules: Cabinetpartspro, PartNester and CabinetCad
Cabinetpartspro calculates cabinet parts based on the size of the cabinet box. It produces layered dxf drawing for the parts of the cabinets entered. The dxf drawing includes all the machining features such as shelf holes, dados… .

PartNester will nest and tool path the dxf drawings.
CabinetCad gives you the ability to add or modify the nested dxf parts.

Changes include:
New look
Creates Layered dxf files for nesting
Better nesting
Corner cabinets
Separate settings for each cabinet type
Allows different material for each part
Creates a layered dxf drawing for each part
Nesting shows all cutting features
Setup toolpath template for each layer in the dxf drawings
Ability to add features to the drawings

Can you expound more on the Cabinet CAD module?

CabinetCad is a basic 2-½ dimension cad program. You can use it to add or remove features of a cabinet part. After the parts are nested right click on a part and select open dxf, CabinetCad will then open. Once CabinetCad opens you can make your changes and additions. After making changes save the drawing and close CabinetCad. Then all the parts related to the modified dxf will have changed.

CabinetCad is early in its development. It is a cad program specifically for cabinet making. It will have drawing tools like draw valance, flutes, and cabinet side…

Hi, is there a better way to change the dimensions of the parts in the cabinet cad, the one that I can see is by clicking on one of the corners or the end of the part to be modified, can't get any precision this way.
Thank you

There is an update to CabinetPartsPro.
CabinetPartsPro (http://www.cabinetpartspro.com)

If you have any questions please email me at info@cabinetpartspro.com (info@cabinetpartspro.com)

8.5.15 Update includes:
1- Save all parts to DXF file from main entry page. This was added to work with Vectrics batch import.
2- Add doors to nesting. This is done by checking the box to the features for the selected cabinet type.
3- Improved label printing.
4- Print nested sheets
5- More nesting sort options. These options are mainly for beam saw cutting.
6- Added a trim edge setting. This is the distance the parts are inset from the edge of the sheet.
7- All features using the same tool number will now be saved to one file. Example: if you have plan to cut using two bits/tools (.25 for drilling shelf , hinge ,drawer holes and .375 for dados and cut) it will now save only two file for each nested sheet. One file for the .25 cutter and one for the .375.
8- A new folder is created for all saved tool paths.
