There's an upgrade for RhinoCam 1.0 for Rhino 4.0 on the Mecsoft website.

It says:

5 Axis indexed machining introduced in RhinoCAM SP1
2-10x improvement in performance in surface/poly-surface machining
Rhino crash when opening a new file after certain Rhino edit operations
V-carving gouging bug fixed

I've downloaded it, but have yet to try it.

Note that this is for those users who are using Rhino 4.0 and RhinoCam 1.0 for Rhino 4.0.

John,

If you have been using Rhino 4.0, I would also RX installing the latest service pack (service pack 2) as this fixes some performance issues.

Since we're on the topic, does Rhino 4 work any better with Vista than Rhino 3?

Sheldon,

Sorry, however I have not tried Vista.

Thanks BTK, already done.

Sheldon, I'm not using Vista myself, but I see the rhino Site says:

"Yes, Rhino 4.0 with Service Release 2 runs fine, but there are serious issues for Rhino 3.0."

In any case, I find Rhino 4.0 more useful than 3.0, so is worth upgrading I would say.
