To create a certain object I have 2 drive rails, five x-sec's - laterally, and one x-sec - longitudinally that runs right down the centerthat I am calling the Z modulator.
The top of my surface is not bad after using the 2-Rail Sweep fxn, but I would like it a bit smoother. I have not used the Z "x-section" on any of the 5 x-sec's because it wanted to stretch the Z data across the length of each of the 5 pieces individually, whereas I wanted it to do it over the whole length.
Is there a way I can overlay that Z information over the entire surface now that the relief has been created (or before it was created) ? Or is there some other method ? I didn't use extrude because my side rails are not straight lines.
