Placing text within a closed path

Hi
I’m trying to place text within a closed path. The closed path is a vector image from Vector art. I have no problem doing this if I create a object with Corel draw 7 but if I use a vector image I can’t. I have noticed in PW and Vcrave wizard a vector image is made up of lines. In Corel draw it is filled. Why is that and is there a way to view it as PW aVCW see it?

Hi Dan!

View menu/Simple wireframe... or select all and use the fill tool to remove any filling...

Are thoses vector(s) ungrouped, breaked apart and unlocked?

Hi Dan,

To go along with Paco's message, select the Vector Art image and then in the upper right corner click on the "X" to remove the fill. After the fill is gone you may not see anything, so go to the outline tool on the left toolbar and apply a "Hairline outline". After that you should be able to deal with it like you normally would. It's posible that you may have to do a "Send to Back" with the Vector Art image at some point.
